Christina Botsou is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Communication, Media & Culture in Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and a researcher, with professional expertise in European research projects, in collaboration with the National Centre for Social Research. She has completed a MA in Cultural and Film Studies and has published multiple research papers in international conferences and volumes in the field of Cultural Studies and Gender Studies. She is currently teaching Elements and Techniques of the Visual Arts in the Department of Early Childhood Education in the University of Athens and Current Issues in Art Education in the MA of Arts and Education in AKTO Art & Design. Her present research focuses in the area of Sociology of Culture and Contemporary Visual Culture as well as Cultural Policy.
