DIOTIMA x AKTO | Lecture on Online Gender-based Violence

As part of the exhibition WOMAN | Past, Present, Future by AKTO’s I.SAEK, we are pleased to host a concurrent event, in collaboration with the Diotima Centre.

Erika Kazani, a lawyer and representative of the #DiotimaCentre, will deliver a lecture at AKTO on the timely and sensitive topic of online gender-based violence, sharing valuable experiences with us.

Tuesday, February 24 | 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM | Athens Campus Amphitheater

The event is open to the public, with free admission.

The Diotima Centre is a women’s non-profit organization specializing in gender and equality issues, founded in 1989. Its vision is to highlight and eliminate gender discrimination, and its mission is to empower women. The core of its action is the prevention and response to gender-based violence.

Today, as timeless injustices and crimes against women are revealed daily, we urgently demand the restoration of gender equality at home, at school, at work, in entertainment, and within art itself. With the multidisciplinary, artistic exhibition dedicated to female identity, WOMAN | Past, Present, Future, and with this concurrent event, we delve into the past, listen to the present, and envision the future, seeking… perspective on the female identity of Tomorrow.
