Athens’ longest-running international comics festival celebrates 20 years this year! We will celebrate the 20th anniversary of COMICDOM Con Athens on the three-day period of May 15, 16, and 17, at Technopolis City of Athens, with AKTO making a strong presence.

AKTO Live Sketch Event | Booth 01 (next to Artist Alley)
Members of the student community from the 1st and 2nd year of the university program BA (Hons) Comics & Cartoon will be sketching live for the public.

The 24 AKTO Alumni participants in this year’s Artists Alley make us particularly proud. In the most vibrant area of the convention, you can meet
established, emerging, and debut talented individuals in Comics and Illustration, who all started their journey at AKTO.

Four distinct workshops from AKTO (two for adults & two for children) are conducted by members of AKTO’s academic team, as part of the event’s eponymous program.

With special guest, the co-creator of the iconic V for Vendetta, David Lloyd, anniversary & music exhibitions, a documentary about the legendary Milo Manara (premiere screening), cosplay contest & awards, the largest artists alley, Comicdom Con Athens is the ultimate meeting point for fans of comics, illustration, animation, and board games, with a rich program for every pop culture enthusiast.
