For more than 55 years, AKTO has not been limited to just Art and Design education. It is an educational organization that recognizes its role in society and strives to create opportunities for access to creative education for as many individuals as possible.

AKTO’s Corporate Social Responsibility philosophy is expressed through actions and initiatives that strengthen social cohesion, knowledge, and the creative development of the community. Guided by sustainable development and active participation in society, these actions are developed around key pillars:

Social responsibility is of fundamental importance to us, as demonstrated by AKTO’s significant and diverse contribution to society. Every year, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, AKTO provides Discounts aimed at subsidizing part or all of the tuition for specific categories of beneficiaries, such as:

  • Children from families with three children
  • Children from large families
  • Children from single-parent families
  • Unemployed individuals
  • People with disabilities

Access to creative education should be a right, not a privilege.

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, AKTO offers full-time SOCIAL SOLIDARITY Scholarships to vulnerable members of our society.

Applications for these scholarships are submitted exclusively through the Organization representing the applicant, following a specific procedure. The Application for Acceptance and the candidates’ details are to be submitted electronically by the relevant Organization, Center, Institution, or Structure.

Candidates must have successfully completed Secondary Education, as the study programmes offered by AKTO are undergraduate, postgraduate, I.S.A.E.K. level, and Lifelong Learning Centre (KDVM) level.

As an educational organization that operates in accordance with international human rights standards and applies equal opportunity policies, AKTO, through tuition subsidies and free educational provisions, focuses on the following key areas:

The required supporting documents to accompany the Application are a Certificate from the relevant Organization with the member’s full details, a portfolio of work, a CV, as well as a brief personal statement describing “Why I should be awarded the Scholarship”.

A Committee is formed to select the Scholarship recipients, made up of members of AKTO’s Academic Community, which evaluates the Applications together with Individual Interviews of Candidates.
