For yet another year, AKTO, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility Program, supported the work of the AGIA ANNA Christian Girls’ Home by offering weekly creative workshops for the girls residing there, as well as for girls from vulnerable groups in the Municipality of Nea Kifissia.
During the 2022-2023 academic year, with Mary Kalampalika, a distinguished AKTO graduate, as instructor, the girls of the Home were trained in the use of visual arts media and design techniques. This exposure to Arts and Design enabled them to discover their inclinations and talents, experiment in new ‘spaces,’ and express themselves creatively!
At the end of the academic year, the young creators presented selected works from the creative workshops in an exhibition. The exhibition took place at the annual, established festive event organized by the Home at its premises every June.
