brand in <strong>New York<\/strong> and alumna of AKTO&#8217;s <strong>BA (Hons) Fashion Design program<\/strong>, returns to AKTO for an online masterclass dedicated to Greek traditional motifs and their place in contemporary Design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through approximately ten years of research, Ariadne Kritonos studies the richness of Greek folk decorative tradition and highlights ways in which traditional motifs can be transferred into a contemporary design framework. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The online masterclass presents: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the history and cultural context of Greek traditional motifs <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>their semiotics and symbolism <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the differences between traditional, ancient Greek, and tourist motifs <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>examples of creative application in contemporary fashion projects <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the importance of cultural research in fashion design today <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the masterclass, participants discover how Greek visual tradition can serve as a tool for inspiration, research, and the development of contemporary collections, prints, and fashion concepts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The webinar is free and is addressed to members of the AKTO student community, individuals interested in fashion design, creative research, and the relationship between fashion and cultural heritage, as well as creators seeking
